The year away was healing. Namaste.
Apparently I couldn’t stay away from sharing my intersectional feminist politics and pop culture commentary online. There’s so much going on that I couldn’t stay on the sidelines!
For those who are new-ish, I took nearly a year off to take care of myself. I was burned by out and my mental health wasn’t doing well. I stepped away from a lot of work in 2025. I feel more grounded and self-assured, complete with personal growth.
Here we are again and the world has gotten worse and so has broadcast news coverage, especially for women. Let me put my hat in the ring for feminist news coverage. I will cover Canadian, American and British news because they are all connected: the shittiest policies begin in the UK, migrate to America and waft up to Canada.
Guess what? I’m doing this for free! This is because Bad + Bitchy is my labour of love and, in this economy I’d rather have accessibility with zero paywalls. Please note: this may not be forever but it is for now. Mind you, I always accept donations.
